2002 P5 Owner New To Group

Greetings All,

I'm new to the group, but have owned my White 2002 Protege 5 since Oct of 2001. Bought it off the showroom floor. It's been a pretty good car so far. A few issues have cropped up, nothing major. At 130,00 miles now it's time to do some major maintenance so I thought I'd join and see how everyone else is handling their maintenance/upgrades/mods.

The only mods to mine are in the stereo dept. Stock speakers were going out so I replaced them in 2007 with some JL Audio speakers and added a Kicker amp.

Anyway, nice to be aboard.

Thanks for the welcome fellas. I just received $727.00 worth of parts to do maintenance. Timing belt, and suspension. I got all of it from Rock Auto. Nice folks to deal with.

Hey there, I just joined today (1/21). Had my 2002 Pro5 since November 2001. A few "check engine" light issues but nothing to kill it. I keep up with the maintenance and it hasn't let me down yet. I'm close to 160,000 miles and it still drives smooth.
