Hi All friend

i am new to this form so thanks in advance for help.

I have mazda MPV 2001, they provide 2 keyfob and on friday one of my Keyfob dead after locking my Van. so i tired to unlock van through Key but ever time i was opening my door it was alarming for 2 min and went off. then when you open your door to get out, start alarming again. is there any way to use my key which is genuine from mazda rather than key fob. But every time i am trying to use my key its alarming. mind it i am locking my car from another Key fob.

I tried to change the battery didnt work, i tried other key fob. work fine. i tired to used other original new keyfob battery to the older one no luck. For me that Key fob is not good any more.

Could any one tell me where to buy Key fob low price and how to program it.

any help would be great.

thanks

Take the key fob to a Mazda dealer, maybe they can fix it or replace it. It will be very difficult to buy a used key fob and program it to work with your car.

I know this thread is older, but you can easily get on ebay and buy a used FOB for cheap. In addition, they send you the info to program it yourself.

Here is the info

1) Get in MPV with ignition key, and all fobs for the vehicle.
2) Close all doors and remove ignition key if it is in ignition.
3) Open driver's door
Note: Steps 4 and 5 must be completed in under thirty seconds.
4) Repeat the following three times
a) Insert ignition key

b)Turn ignition switch to on and then to lock
c) Remove ignition key
5) Repeat the following three times
a) Close driver's door
b) Open driver's door
Locks should all lock and then unlock within a couple of seconds--you'll hear the clicking sound
6) Press any button two times within five seconds on fob being programmed.
Locks should again lock and unlock
7) Repeat step 6 for all other fobs being programmed. When done with last fob, wait a few seconds and then you should be done with the reprogramming. Each fob should now work for this vehicle.
