I change the fuel pump on my 2000 protege if i shoot a little gas into the breather the car cranks and runs idle like a kitten. The minute i try to give it some gas it starves for gas, stumble and finally cuts off. i'll have to shoot more gas into the breather to make it crank again. i check the fuel line comming from tank t injectors and it's shooting plenty fuel

r u getting anywhere from 39-45? check the fuel pressure regulator by disconnect and see if there is any increase in pressure.

I change the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and throttle position sensor but the car still stalls when pressing the gas petal. Also it won't crank unless i spray gas in the breather then it runs like a kitten

there is a fuse in the engine bay that controls this I had a problem recently that sounds very familiar. The fuse is named (CIRCUIT OR SPV) I have no I idea what it is for, but mine came loose and the car would not start or stay running for long. Other option you might want to check is the fuel filter in the pump housing, it is built into the housing so short from opening it up there really isn't any other option, but to replace it and see.

sounds to me like a bad sensor, like TPS. the second that the car requires more fuel from having more air, it runs too lean and cant stay running. the car is not being told to open the injectors. thats why it makes sense that it would idle but not rev.

make sure all your sensor connectors are plugged in. also look for the fuel systems vacuum lines and make sure there are no leaks. double check the solenoids on the intake plenum.
