i was reading on the protege faq that our engines have a problem withe the #4 main cap being improperly machined how does that efect our motors when it comes to forced induction longevity

Sorry bro car is Time Attach and Hill-climb racer so I have no idea what drag time are. I do know from my data-logs the car can get 2G lateral in the corners and almost 2g stopping.

Would you recommend the kit for an engine with high miles 195,000 if the compression is good or would a motor from a 323 gtx work in a 99 protege lx 1.6

only motors that bolt in is the klve v6 with modifications, and the fs line of motors..

^^ by modifications he means the passenger side motor mount from the FS. The FD also works.
