Hey everyone, I'm planning to get 20 inch wheels for my 2006 Mazda 6. The tyres will be 245/35/20. I'm using 18s at the moment.

Any advice such as what to look out for, etc. ?

Thanks

I thought those days were done. Unless you plan on getting some lovely rays wheels, forged, super light, and about $1000 a wheel the suspension is going to hate you for as long as you live.

I doubt they will fit without rubbing. Thats atleast going to be and inch taller than stock.

and then gearing will be off along with the speedo and everything else....and if you try and run the car like normal you are gonna be lookin like all the toyotas on the road that someone lifted and threw 36 inch wheels on without redoing the gears...AKA BLOWIN SMOKE

20 will work with a 225 or 235. 30 profile tire. But dont hit a pot hole.

maybe he is a member of the BIG TYMERS there motto was 20 inches nothing less haha but then again they had lambos and benz not mazdas

Ok guys enough flaming.......
As for the OP I believe the concensus is no on 20s for your car... Its going to cause more issues than what its worth....

thanks. i appreciate all the advice and concern. just that i was given a great offer for 20 inch rays wheels and i was tempted to try somethin new for a change.

will definitely stick with my current 18" wheels then and save some $ for other mods :)

p.s. the thing hung on the front bumper is just an added front lip, as my 6 didnt come with a bodykit.

please don't do that.....

19's are the biggest I have ever seen on a Mazda6 and they looked kinda funky.
