2.0t03speed's MSP Build Thread

Ok so i guess i should update this thread. The install is done and the car is pulling great. Im getting fuel cut so ill be getting a fcd soon. I had no real problems with my install till i got to putting the hot pipe & stock rad/fans back in. I couldnt get my hotpipe to stop hitting either the power steering adjustment bracket or the mam mani. I finally messed with it enough to clear both but at that point i couldn't get the rad back in with the stock fans so i took the ac fan off and left it off. Tried getting the drivers side on but couldn't get that either so i took the stock smic off and i was able to get it in but somehow i broke off my coolant nipple that goes to the reservoir. So this coming up weekend im going to install a p5 rad with 2 slim fans on the ac condenser side of the rad so i never have this problem again. Needless to say it was a frustrating Saturday.

Sweet! Upgrading the radiator and getting 2 slim fans. Should look good!

Post some vids of the engine bay and give us spin in your ride :)

lol ill post some acceleration videos after i get a fcd. Right now there is no point because ill go then hit a wall then go again lol

Sounds familier... I can't step on my s*** either. I hit fuel cut under WOT. So I do some half throttle pulls when my foot gets heavy :)

and your getting fuel cut? wow i was running 8-9 spiking 10 and i didnt get any fuel cut, But not with the 28rs i get fuelcut at 9 psi

Yeah :( CitizenPro, DiscreetSpeed and Low_Psi are tripping about it too... It wont go past 5,000 rpm in 2nd gear... that was before the 505 Manifold O.O

She still hella quick though! I'm loving the way she pulls, but I wanna see what numbers she can put down when we go see Sam.

hmm i guess i should update this thread. Since i messed up my rad during the big install a few weeks ago last weekend i picked up a p5 rad from a friend and installed that along with 2 slim fans. On the docket for tomorrow night is the install of my coilovers they were supposed to go on last weekend but ended up helping a friend out. It was kind of goof though because it gave me time to break all the locking nuts loose and adjust/clean the coilovers a bit since they are used and are a little dirty.

it involves a big azz C-clamp, some blocks of wood, a piece of pipe and a BFH. Problem solved!

Got my j&s in today
