1st International mazda 6 meet! Niagara Falls, Ontario

The official location has been set as NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO, CANADA. Not only are the falls absolutely beautiful, there is an almost unimaginable number of things to do (clubs/bars, casino, haunted houses, amusement rides, restaurants galore, novelty shops, adult entertainment, movie theaters, animal kingdoms, museums [ripley's believe it or not, wax museum], bowling and other entertainment, etc.), which all happen to be within walking distance of the falls. For those that have been, it's a truly breathtaking experience and for those who haven't...well...why the heck haven't you been yet?!?!?!

Please keep in mind that since June 1st, 2009 a passport is required to cross the border. If you do not yet have one (or it has expired), you will need to remedy this situation asap.

also have a hiking meet going on in the niagara falls gorge on the american side if anyone is down for that, i have set that meet up and it is going to be on sunday around 11am-noon, then go for most the day.

Friday (night)

5 - 6pm --> Check in at hotel

6 - 6:30pm --> Meet and Greet at the Inn by The Falls

7pm --> Dinner (at a restaurant of choice...I'd suggest Kelsey's or Boston Pizza)

9pm --> Walk down to the Falls/explore the area/take in all of the beauty/take a ride on the giant ferris wheel

Saturday

10am --> Breakfast at Denny's/another suitable restaurant

~11:30am - 5pm --> Hit Clifton Hills for an afternoon of entertainment; haunted houses, wax museums, chocolate/fugdge factories, ripley's museum and 3D motion rides, dinosaur 4D ride, etc. (I can't possibly list them all)

5:30pm --> Early dinner at a restaurant of choice

7pm - 9pm --> 6crew PHOTO SHOOT!

10pm onwards --> Club night at Dragonfly --> http://www.dragonflynightclub.com/

Sunday

10am --> Breakfast at Denny's/another suitable restaurant

All day (~11am - mid afternoon) --> Yamba6's hike through Niagara Falls Gorge!
Note: For those who are not going on the hike, there are plenty of attractions to fill your time!

End of meet (whatever time people need to leave to get home)

anyone that is interested in a nice hike down into the gorge. for any of you guys that are in to photography, this is a very big place I highly suggest to take up the offer. I have been down there over 15 times and I still do not get sick of being there

if your planning on seeing the falls or spending the day looking at the falls from above, i suggest to look at them from straight on and also view all the rapids that are created from where the falls use to be.

I am planning to spend most of the day down there depending on how everyone else feels about it.

Things you will want to bring:
-food for snacks and lunch
-drinks (anything from beer to pop to water)
-camera and photo gear
-toilet paper for dropping a duce in the woods. (yes i have had to do this before, no one will feel comfy having to climb an x amount of stairs when they need to s***) lol
-anything else you would like on a hike.

This will be held on Sunday sept. 27th at about 11am or noon we will start out.

my buddy chris will probably join us for the hike, being that he has been down there over 50 times before and knows the place like the back of his hand.

I nor anyone you are going with, will be a certified guide for niagara falls. so this will be a hike at your own risk. I nor anyone else will take the fall for if anything happens. please be aware, you need to be careful at all times and watching where you are stepping, there are several places that you are right on the edge of the water and can slip in. so please be aware, I nor anyone else you are going with are certified for being a guide at niagara falls.

Is this meet still going on? I've been looking for a mazda meet forever now! All the meets are usually in america or too far from the GTA. Is it this weekend coming up? Anyone else going? I'd like to come down...

Damn I just noticed this. I actually was free this weekend and made plans or I'd be there. I don't have a passport though, so that kinda ***** everything.

It's not that the forums are bad, it's just that this section doesn't seem to get much viewing. Next meet, send a PM to a supermod so that this kind of info can hit the front page and get more face time.

+1 to what steve said. I wish we had a few MS6 meetings in the GTA... theres always MS3 ones or other mazda models but like I said MS6 meets in Canada are rare .

yeah, im telling that you guys are going to miss out, right now we have about 21 members from several sites that are going to attend this, most of which are meeting up friday and hitting up the bars, then saturday is the car meet part of the adventure, so hit it up, pm me for more details if you need to.
