1hr tops, I was flyin untill i got to the tranny bolt and the other bolt in that area. Most of the work is getting acess to those bolts.

Lol!

I notice from the 1st pic that even your Mag-lite flashlight match your car body color. Did you buy that color of Mag-lite on purpose?

nothing a few jacks and a creeper wont solve!

the bolts need to be accessed from the top.

Youre right I spent about 45 minutes trying to connect that one bolt with the two wires under the wire loom.

Looks very good. Nice and tidy. Where you get the kit?? I'm thinking about giving this a go, and pondered a home made kit, but I think I'd rather have something already made. Unless I could find some good pics of a uninstalled kit to go by.

From me! (hi)

As another member that recently contacted me, doing these yourslef isn't a good idea unless you have the right tool. The real crimpers will cost around $200 and the impact type form sears is a bit over $50 I think.

that one went smooth for me, it was the bolt that went into the tranny that was a b****. that bracket kept holting the wires off so i couldnt get it started.

I like the red. With mine blue, it really blends in with the car.

Notice any improvements? with this kit

read my first post.

That bolt was cake for me, i couldnt understand what craig was talkin about in the directions about it being so hard...granted, i had to take my CAI center piece out, but still, it was pretty easy after cracking my knuckle on the block loosening the bolt...the wire loom bolt was damn near impossible for me, because no matter what, the wire loom would not come off! WTF? i dunno, i tried everything, and three other people tried. no luck.

i tried and tired until my finger was gonna fall off...i literally had a red ass finger after the install...so i bent whatever the wireloom is attached to and got the guy working on his truck next to me to hold it there while i screwed in the bolt.

Sorry, but I need to ask this dumb question.

What does a grounding kit do to your car?
In essance provide a better ground path for all electrical devices grounded throughout the engine bay. The facotry ground is a joke and only after a year was showing some very high resistance in several cars. Also the factory ground wires are aon the small side.

Everything from 3 hp on gtech meters to better AM reception have been reproted.
On the newer cars this won't be as big of an improvement but as the factory terminals carode to junk, then you will see a differnce.

The reason I build the kits is I have the proper tools and can make them with weather sealed connections so they will not get messed up over time. Any other kit I have seen will become junk in a year or so from not being weather sealed. Not to mention these are all cut specific for the protege.
