1st gen fuel pump compatability?

do any of the other fuel pumps from other RX's work on an 81?

thats all my 81 need to be on the road.......having trouble finding one for a good price

I have access to a second gen pump for free........will it work without too much customization?

You can put just about ANY universal fuel pump in a 1st gen. The 79-85 pump will work. You can also get a rebuilt one for like $25 dollars from O'Reilys.
