Ok im working on this 1992 Mazda Protege. I want to get rid of the stock air filter and put in a high flow filter. I like this one , but do you think it will fit fine? Otherwise what filters/systems can you guys reccomend?

Thanks-Curtis

EDIT: Oh yes I'm new here...

Curits,
hey cool man. i like ur car on cardomain. check mine out.

my car

i see we both live in oregon, and have the same car. lets talk about what we do. im new to this sorta stuff, so if u got any tips, i'm all ears. haha.

yea that kit is soo original. everyone gets em, cuase they are so cheap and its a nice basic mod. It makes ur stock or performance exhaust alot louder. plus it sounds cool with teh SCHUUUU sucking sound when u step on the gas hard. lol. GET IT!

Do i detect sarcasm? Ha ha, I didn't say the filter was suppose to be "original", i just want somthing better than stock...

Hazard is it a 5-speed? Do you plan on racing? I would get a short shifter, I love short shifts it feel so much better than that big ass shifter on the stock protege.

also, yes it is a 5 spd manual. sohc, is there any other motor i can put in it that's better?
