hello everyone one out there im Matt and im new to this forum however i have a problem. i was driving my 1989 323 and my tranny blew up so now its parked. now i love this car and i think given time i could replace both the engine and the tranny for relatively cheap if i found the right ones. my question is for any real mazdas experts. i was wondering if anyone knew if any other makes and models could be used for replacement transmissions or engine. its an 1989 just FWD 1.6L. i was thinking maybe out of a 323 the same year but i am trouble finding one. if anyone knows what would work or where i could find out please help.
