1990 RX-7 Turbo II
Just thought I'd pass the word. I passed by this beauty the other day. Looks fantastic on the outside and the inside is very well kept with that maroon color leather seats which have very minimal wear. As you can see it was raining and the place is closed so I can get more pics and details later if anyone is interested.

Asking price on window is $3,000
Manual Transmission

I know this car,and looked at it last year when the seller had it on ebay.It is a rare Leather sport model, and isn't in as nice of shape on the underside as it is on the outside. I tried to help the guy sell it,and he knew little about the car. I wonder if it is the same guy selling it. The car did belong to his father for many years, and it was repainted at one point in its life.I initially told him it was worth $3k plus, but it does have some rott in the normal places that first gens get it,but it isn't too bad. If you want to go look at it with me I can point you to all the bad parts, and help you negotiate with the seller. It would be a shame to see a rare car go to a bad home, but I think the price is high enough that some 16 year old with no idea what he has will buy it. By the way altspace, are you sure they were maroon seats I thought the LS cars had tan color interior, and power mirrors(a rare option on a SA)?

Yea, I'm very sure about the seats. It's being sold at a used car dealer only a few miles from my house. If the weather clears I'll take a better look another day. Did it have a spoiler on the rear? Looks like plugs on the back.

yeah just pm me what day u can go look at it with me i sadly had to work today and was hoping to get down there today to take a peak at it but it would def be going to a good home i would like to restore it so it had no rott on it and fix anything else that needed fixing as well.

Are you sure the seats didn't look like this? I am sure this is the same car I looked at with the plugged holes from a spoiler. I have lots of pics of the car on my computer.

Edit:maybe you remember the maroon floor mat/s that the car has/had,and not the seats.I am 99.9% sure the seats are this tannish/brown color like all other LS models. I know these cars really well, and I have touched that car before I am sure of it.

Fairly certain, then again is was raining and kinda dark. Could you upload more pics?

Solar gold, and it is not eww in my opinion. It is a very rare color like my Spark yellow that was only produced in 79.

Here are a few more pics I have on my computer

thank you all for the info and pics on the car i can live with the rott i did paint and body work on my truck a few years ago.. now alls i need is 2 find like 4 hours this week and get down there to buy her and take her home and restore her to her original beauty.

There is some structural rott where the rear suspension ties into the body(typical SA/FB thing) that you may want to take into account when talking the guy down. Also in the front there was a hole in the frame rail area in front of the drivers front wheel that didn't look too bad,but I would fix it before it gets worse. Also the wheel well lips have some cancer starting under the paint. It isn't anything major at this point, but I figured I would let you know what you are getting yourself into.Let me know what is a good evening/day for you,and I will try to meet you down there,or we could meet at my place. I assume this car is in the Hyannis/Barnstable/Yarmouth area still, right Josh? Looks like Willow street to me.

yeah ill def pm you.. nothing would be as bad as my truck was to restore that thing was rust like u wouldnt believe so a few minor touches in my eyes compared to what ive done shouldnt be a problem.

Yup, that's the car. Same yellow fogs and I also see the little blue sticker on the rear hatch glass. Must have been the lighting. Awesome, glad to see someone knows the history a bit. What are the chances of that? 3 coincidences all in one post.

Yes, it's off Willow St. Very easy to get to. Take Rt.6 east to exit 7. At the traffic light take a left and your on the street and the place is just a few miles down the road on the right. Can't miss the big yellow sign that says, "CARZ".

Awesome! Forums and NEPOC FTW!
Some great inside info to use when negotiating.(eekdance)

Man I'd love to just have the rims.

You,and me both. Those LS gold waffles are rare, and command a premium with the right person. I would love to own the whole car,but alas I don't have the time, and my 79 GS,and 74 REPU take up both the bays of the garage, and oh yeah I am broke with two kids, and a big mortgage. Maybe I should sell on of the vehicles.
