had a few OHSHIT moments in the rain this week and looking at the tires tells me why.....
all the way down to the wear bars already
i was expecting 25-30k from stock tires, but noooooo
so, what's the best replacement?

12k and the tires are shot?
You guys suck at driving/maintenance. Find a shop that will rotate your tires for free with oil changes and do it every oil change. Keep air in them and stop dive bombing into turns so fast the front end plows... Burnouts to impress your friends doesn't help them last either.

I'm not easy on tires but I had 30k on them when I replaced them and they still had about 5/32nds of tread left.

MortMan said:Rotated twice (4K and 8K), kept them well-inflated, and never burned out (risk burnout with auto trans? I think not). I blame it on the cheap stock tires and the fact that almost all of my driving was city driving (delivering Chinese food to pay for college (rei)) I never expected to get a whole lot out of tires with a wear rating of 200.
