OK, money is finally coming around for me to get some wheels. I have my eyes on some hyper silver Giovanni Seki's for an awesome deal, but...I don't know whether to get the 18's or 17's. I will definately have to money to fork out for the 17's and I could just use my bad Nitto 450's or I could get the 18's, but then I'd have to wait another month to buy rubber. I know that the 18's weigh 19 lbs, but does anyone no what the 17's weigh. I was under the assumption that they weighed around 17.5-18lbs. But, I couldn't find anything in writing. I was thinking more along the lines of 17's for ride quality reasons and tire cost. Here's a pic or NC Skaters MP3 with 18 inch Seki's mounted. I estimate that my Teins will have around the same drop as the Spool springs he's using.
My question to you guys is...given you were in the position to buy wheels, what size would you get (not what rims, just what size)? 18 or 17 I've narrowed my desicion down to the Seki's Hyper Silver or the Rota Attacks in Bronze.
