Anyone tried this? I could've sworn I saw another thread on this question but now I can't find it!

It does work

Prior to own a CX-9 I had a CX-7 and got 18 inch winter wheel/tire combo for my CX-7 and when I traded in the CX-7 I decided to keep the winter wheels so I could use them in my CX-9 and they work .

Thanks for the reply guys, yeah, I figured it would work, but the Tire Rack didn't list them as alternates and they are a little smaller (29.1 compared to stock 29.6) . Just figured I'd ask. I have a local seller who is getting rid of a CX-7 winter package with TMPS for $750. Hankook wrii's on 2007 CX-7 wheels. Got 15K on them. I'll give them a good once over before I buy but it seems like a good deal.

Well I picked up the CX-7 rims (with TMPS) and Hankook wr11 combo tonight. The set was used for two seasons and the tires and wheels look like new except for some minor corrosion around the center caps. The Hankook's look new, so they should wear quite well. I'll hopefully have them installed on my 9 in the next couple of days. I think a damned good deal for $675.

yep it does work. Bought a set of 4 18" cx-7 rims off ebay really cheap and put on Blizzak P235/65QR-18 DM-Z3 from tire rack.
Note: the tpms cost me nearly as much as the rims.
