for me the hardest thing to decide on this car is the wheels. what size what type..ive been back and forth. I want as rubber on the road as I can without doing major rolling..some minor rolling is fine. Im thinking 17x9 45mm offset RPF1's...I know they have been done before with no rolling with 235 tires and stock suspension. I wanna go 245 tire with mild drop-cobb springs...would I be fine with this set up wiht minor rolling? Also some people have had to use spacers and some people have not..Im carious about that. And 1 last thing other the the rpf1's does anyone else have other 17x8.5-9.0 they would suggest? im not a cheapskate but im no wheel ***** either so no more than 300.00 per wheel and under 18.0 lbs would be nice. Thank you guys!!

You will need a roll in the rear for sure. It's not the drop that kills you, it's the fact that the spring rates on the stock suspension as well as most spring options is soft, causing the wheel and tire to move up into the rear fender on decent sized bumps.

You may or may not need a spacer on the front to clear the suspension. Some brands of tires run wider than others and treadblocks are designed differently.

As far as wheels RPF1's are very hard to match/beat for the price. They are a very well made wheel, from a quality manufacturer and are fantastically priced. Hence their popularity. I doubt you'll find anything comparable without spending significantly more money.

yeah no doubt about the bang for buck on the rpf1's..so thanks for the advise..I do plan on going with the koni sport struts with the cobb springs. But yeah I dont mind rolling the fenders alittle..just dont wanna go crazy. so maybe just to be safe should I get some spacers? like 5mm? Thanks fellas! wastegate you wheelwhore I love you man ahaha your alwas good for wheel advise and your purple wheels are sick btw(drunk)

Spacers will effectively lower your offset and put you that much closer to the fender. Only run a spacer if your tire rubs on the suspension. The front is the only place you need to be concerned with that.

As far as fender rolling, you're rolled or you're not, there really is no in between.
