nah. the rules are 16-24, 18-infinity. if your 18 and she is 17 your safe. anything 15 and under is illegal. good luck hunting.

also i'd like to establish that if your 24 and she is 16, and than you turn 25 and she is still 16, if you can establish evidence of previous sex within legal limitations (i.e you were 24 when you started having sex and she was 16) than you dont have to wait for her to turn 18, you can keep going at it.

the law can still override the consent of any parties involved, so if there is some kinda rouge lawyer or law maker who for some reason wants to press charges on behalf of the state than your SOL
that sucks, he was accused being ignorant, by misinterpretation of the law. DA can press charges, but its the judge who will tell this guys future. Why did he do that?
I think his guy deserves special attention, let him finish studies, specially if the law was changed after that. Teens cant be going to jail because of that, this law was made for adult sex predators.

Georgia had at one time an anti sodomy law. I do not know if it is still on the books. The law forbid activity even among a married couple. I suspect that law combined with the girls age were the driving factors. No way he'll serve out the full sentence. I have to agree that it is a bit harsh.

Here in PR a few months ago something very wrong happened. A 10yo child got pregnant from her step father. Hes serving life in prison.
In another case, a father suspected his son was not his blood, so he shot him in the face with a gun, 2 times. The kid is alive. Another life in prison sentence.
So...its not society at all. I think that only happens when people tries to be apart from society, or people out of their minds....crazy.

You have to draw the line somewhere. The girl was 15, that's under age and if she messed up either her mom and dad will have to pay for it or we the taxpayers will. She is not old enough to know what the consequences of her actions are yet. He on the other hand should have been out with girls his age and this wouldn't have happened. I remember when I was in high school the only people that went out with 15yr old girls were messed with on a daily bases.
wow i have to say this case if bulls***.. i mean there are so many kids in america havin sex at younger ages than that man.. i mean girls are even gettin their periods and s*** at like ages 8 and 9.. and they are goin to lock this poor guy up for gettin some head.. wow.. this is some bulls***.. there are MURDERES who get less time than that.. even rapist who actually commit a violent act against women who get less time.. he needs to go to appeals court or somethin cause his life is officially over before he even gets outtta high school... this really pisses me off! whoever the RAT was would get killed if that was me bout to go to jail for 10 years.. ill make the jailtime worth while before i went in!

if the Governtment is goin to send servicemembers overseas to fight in a WAR... how the hell are they goin to take them to court for MURDER and other different charges because they might of made the wrong decision when it came to a life or death choice.. i mean i dont understand how you can hold a servicemember to such a charge if they are in a war... since when was war a time to worry bout being taken to court for killing the enemy! s*** just pisses me off

The 15yo girl said he offered the bjs to all boys, she said she wasnt drunk and never smoked weed. So all 6 boys should be in jail then.
