Firstly, CX-5 doesn’t offer factory front parking sensors in the US until 2019 MY when Mazda North American Operations started to offer Signature trim. This TSB covers 2017 MY and on which is incorrect.

Secondly, it’s interesting to know that the front bumper design on gen-2 CX-5 are revised internally since 2021 MY although the front looks the same from outside. The bumper removal instructions between 2017 ~ 2020 CX-5 and 2021 CX-5 are different, so as the wiring harness for the front parking sensors.

Another weak waterproofing issue which is causing problems after the power folding mirrors. Just hope Mazda can really fix this issue on front parking sensors, not like power folding mirrors which may still be having problems after several revisions and TSBs.
