JoshP5 said:Crap you have a lot of bikes. All I have is a 2005 GT Zaskar Expert. I see you're jumping on the 29er bandwagon--nice.

JoshP5 - it must be the 50 that is making them stand so straight, I know with the lower profiles they tuck in towards the tread face making them perfect for lowering.
Those rims should look good, you might run into a bit of a rubbing problem though. You will just have to wait and see.
I run 215/40R17 on a 17x7" +45 and I have never had a problem. It is going to depend on what tire size you end up running. I would recommend a 205 for the wedsports.

Believe it--it's all about the tires.spotthedogg said:I'm having trouble beleiving your offset
It beats me up but I won't give up the weight!spotthedogg said:hardtail holdout?
Nah, lowering doesn't change the arc the wheel swings through when the suspension is doing its thing, so if it rubs now, it'll rub when it's lowered. That's why I'm rolling the fenders--that'll fix it *crosses fingers*.spotthedogg said:Josh it may lean in a bit when lowered (if it's just barely touching now) and clear the problem you are having. Lower it first and see....
