I was about to hit 140mph once in my Nissan, but I wussed out...lol I know for a fact I can hit 150+, its just getting the balls to do it.

Umm, you didnt do 130 at 5000 rpms.
135mph is at 6000-6200rpms. I know, I've been there. More than once.

That was damn brave of you. My only question is how long did it take you to get from 85 to 130? I have done 115 before and it took FOREVER to get there after about 85.

Yeah, that must explain it. It's impossible for the to be at 5000 going 130. Like MinishotglasS, at 4000rpm I'm doing 80mph.

So it's automatic, right?


Right now the only thing keeping me from doing that speed is the fear of meeting with a cop just around the bend - and my tires are slightly imbalanced (or something) and the slight imbalance in steering pisses me off :mad:

and i didnt need gas i broke my gas needle but the lil lite wasnt on...

Humm... I'm going to have to try it out, but the fact that you're at 5000rpm going 130mph still seems a little off to me.

Considering a 5-speed P5 is already doing 80MPH in fifth gear at 4k RPMS, it's hard to believe that the extra 1k RPM is gonna get you moving 50MPH. Stock for that matter. Lemme be the first to call :bs:

No hard feelings, but a stock, 130HP P5 will never get to 130MPH (ESPECIALLY WINDOWS DOWN!!!) You may get some of the folks on this board to buy it....and that's funny...but for those of you who are skeptical, you are alive and have a functioning brain.
