Ahh, The toyo R1R's are light years ahead of the Falken. Put some toyos on your car, you will easily make up the gap plus more.

I don't think I've ever seen a tire make a 2 second improvement, but it is onee heck of a tire. His car is just a lot easier to drive. It'd be perfect with a Quaife!

The RX8s are cleaning house in STX now though, but that's okay because we are both going to EP this next year.

well coming up on a year since the brakes went on the car.... Everything is great the car stops fast, the Toyo's are holding up well..... I did put loner wheel studs in front for spacers... of the 3 sets of wheels I have for the car, my wifes favorite wheels made contact with the new calipers, so I had to space them out.
The only negative is a small click sound while backing up and tap the brakes...I beleive it is because the hawk pads dont have the stock silecer bushing in the pad clip...but it is tolerable
