125 wetshot, go or blow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who wants to see it happen!!! as soon as i get back from alabama and find a fuel pump to put in the tank, i am going to spray away!!!!! if i can increase the fuel volume the cumputer should control the timming. any guesses on how long it will hold together? with 255 + horsepower with my mods, any gueses on 1/4 times? i am very excited, nitrous is another addiction of mine. i might start an na support group.

thats a scary amount of nawwwwwssss dude, ive seen how you drive, you'll blow yourself up!!!!

hehe sorry i couldn't help it. but seriously, go for it, just hope she holds together.

I'm going to put my money on an infinate 1/4 mile, as in, you aint gonna make it that far, your tanny will blow like a Korean Crack *****

good luck...its obvious you have lots of money....as you will be replacing an engine AND tranny before long....

and I would recommend that you take a trailer big enough for your car to the very first run.....I believe you will need it.

There go the rods... OOps, there goes the valves....
What have you done to bullet-proof the bottom end?

(F&F... maybe you'll blow your floorpan off like in the movies....)

Yeah and i'm sure once you blow your engine upon start up fir the first time, you'l start bitching about how "crappy these cars are....mazda sucks...blah blah blah"

good luck with causing $5000 damage to your car!!!

come on boys and girls, i have 2 motors on the shop floor, thanx to quick lube people leaving the drain plugs loose and falling out. i going to pull the original motor out and put in 1 of the other 1's. i don't want to tear up my good 1. the trans can any 1 say warrnty! it already needs sycrnos and i can get paid to put the lsd in. it should hopefully hang in 4 a couple of months or passes!! i do plan on briging a trailer or wrecker. my guess is going to be an axle to break. the main thing is to get the fuel right, it won't take being lean 4 long. the pcm is capaible of retarding the timing 20+ degrees. i can take the wds and capture the knock senser, the long fuel , short fuel trim, and 02 reading, and what else i can think of that is important. have some faith in ur mazdas!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys are so critical...LOOSEN UP...if everyone was so cautious we wouldn't have any great stories to tell our grandkids.

The world would be a boring place if no one ever pushed the limit.

Go for it mazdamastertech...you seem to understand the risks and are prepared for the worst...so please proceed...good luck...get it on video!

have some faith in ur mazdas!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn straight...

WOOHOO! Drive it like you stole it! (thumb)

And be sure to get it on tape! We all want to see that shiot :D

All I have to say is video tape that s***. And also I have an idea of whats going to happen. At NIRA I was at a hatchback blew its tranny and leaked all down the track and several gears I even think its clutch fell out onto the track. Also after this happens I assume you'll loose control and hit a wall killing all warrenty things for the tranny. And If none of these things happen you'll have on ****** bad ass car. And one hell of a time racin it

At first I thought you were on crack, and I was suprised a knowledgable tech like yourself would do that. But on an old motor...go for it. Get some redline fluid in that tranny for the hell of it...and for safety...try to not "race" next to anyone. AND TAPE IT!!!!

I wish I had money to blow like that...lol

omg I just remembered a picture I once had...and can't find now...but picture this...

the image is a side view of a drag car...one from the early 60's, the guy is launching at the lights and the motor craters....so much so that it blows the crank/rods/ and pistons out the bottom....in the picture you can see the driver is looking down like there is a whole in the floor he is looking through and from the side view that the picture is taken from you can se the crank/rods/pistons falling out the bottom and bouncing in the ground under him.....lol lol

yep...IT COULD HAPPEN!!! LOL

See, I didn't know you had another motor. In that case, I say go, because you can always reduild the broken NOS motor with some forged stuff after you blow the pistons through the crank.
