we're very proud of jason's car at the moment. i've got a few goodies lined up when he is ready;

- forged pistons and rods
- catless exhaust
- turbo upgrade
- more XEDE tuning :)

after we're done with all that 12.9 will seem slow :) its important to note that his car has stock turbo, stock emissions, stock manifold. companies who have spent more money and done more work have not gotten the results we have with this platform. if it sounds like tooting our own horn a bit, well, it is :D jason was begging me to increase the boost before this run and i kept finding ways not to do it for him haha. Had we done that, his times could have been exponentially better perhaps.

good driving my friend!

we have some, not all, of the wiring needed to do it. i won't give out a definete release date until i am 110% sure.

It is nice to see you hit the 12's. I thought you would be the first and with the stock turbo. Now lower your reaction times and lets see how low in the 12's you can go.
Great Job jcgemt2003 and Protege Garage!

Do you make the clutch slip a bit or you launch at X rpm

I think making feathering/slipping clutch..is most efficient way of trasferring the power to the ground..once you feel the car take off..fully release clutch..

AWD does not like clutch dumps..and it's a fast way to burning out your clutch!

Reaction time has nothing to do with my 1/4mile time...the clock doesnt start until I leave the pad. I could have a reaction time of 10sec and i would still run the same time as I would if I left with a perfect reaction time.
