Well went out yesterday and ran some good times. Got the 60fts. down and the times came. Went 12.79@107 on one pass and then on the next pass I ran 12.75@98 because i lifted in a bracket race. I figured it out and the run was over a full tenth faster at the 1/8mile so I believe a low 12.6 would of came. Just need to get the 60ft. down. On that pass my 60ft. was 1.80. If I can get that down to a 1.75 then a 12.5 will follow. I think it needs 26inch slicks because Im still spinning through first and second. Tried launching lower and it bogs. So Ill just sell these and go 26s. ill need them once I have the meth kit on. ALSO GOT A NEW BEST TRAP 107.49mph but spun hard and only went 12.80. Thing is pulling damn good. Ill post the slips later. its getting repetive posting so many things. LOL

Dude i got money in my hand for your exact set up lol. Send me everything from wheels to spacers to slicks.(upbum)

Good thing there is no driveline. But axles and lsd are a different story. Seems to be holding great thus far. I havent even caught a wiff of clutch yet!!!!!
 
Simply unbelievable, what rims and tires were u running again and also would the weight of a rim and tire adversely affect performance and would it affect a dyno test lets say instead of the stock rims and tires I had a heavier 235 tires on.
 
The 26's are going to bring your mph down but the trade off for ET is worth it. Which trans mount are you running? I would go with a stronger mount and that may help your times a bet. Coils will bring that 60 down as well. Good job... How's your axles holding up?

I do and dont agree with you on the 26s. The fact that this car is so short geared kills it in the 1/4 mile. i believe the 26s will allow it to hold harder in each gear and allow for some more trap in 5th. i think the car will only go 110-115ish with the 24s and that will hurt it eventually.
I think lower 60fts higher mph and lower et will come. Also I believe it will take even more of the shock factor out of the launches and keep it from breaking. Axles still look perfect. I just put it on a lift and checked it out today.

ps. im still on stock mount. i think once I upgrade that the 60s will get better also. The track here is done for the season. so no more 12s for me. The next time this car sees the track it will be running 11.8s count on it. LOL.

Plans are, upgraded tmic, downpipe, meth kit and some kind of standalone. I think 350-375whp will not be a problem. Shoot Im at 311whp with only 18psi and a testpipe.
 
Well lets see how those 26s work out for you. I would get a mount as it would probably help that launch at bit. Cant wait to see you hit a low 12. 11's are obtainable with a standback. Get your meth kit ordered yet?

Would you mind just posting your wheel/slick setup on here for everyone? I am debating getting some slicks myself.
