1.5 ---> 1.5 Zl-ve

If the motor in her now is 'good' (low mileage) i have got to believe even a custom (albeit expensive) turbo set up has got to be better than the similar cost/effort to swap in a motor that may still not yield satisfactory results...

What is your budget? What is your goal?

+1 on the turbo or 2... but if you can get the ZL-VE for not very much, it's a legitimate option.

BTW... 0-60 and 0-100 are not equal. Add about 0.5 to 8.5 for 0-100 (additional 4 km/h takes about that much.)
i agree about the zlve being a good idea if its cheap, but if not, he should be able to locally locate the fsde. the zl will have to come from japan, he can get an fsde right there

hmmm, but a 2.0 doesn't fit in my wiring(dont know how i say that)

and what about the gearbox? i think these are all the same but im not sure.

my car has now 90.000km, that is around 60.000 mile

why not convert your ZL to a ZM and then turbo it? that is what im looking into doing, although im not sure what the difference between the blocks are. i know the intake manifold, ECU and head is different and the bottom half of the blocks is the same!
