hey,anyone on this forum have a header?
i have a mp5 with an injen intake,racing mazda header,and a cat back ext. im wondering what i would run in a 1/4 mile.

Do they replace the cats?

there made by mazda racing there for an mx-6 but they fit with some mods. mp5 and the 4 cyl mx-6 have the same block.it only replaced the frist cat.ya im next door to o.c.

How about on a Subaru?

what you do is buy it for $290-deal-
then you take it down to good muffler shop.
they will have to relocate the egr port
the o2 hooks up the same as your stock one
the only problem is you will have to buy a $20 circut from the zx2racing.com web site for the cel light,otherwise it will come on
the reason that the cel light will come is because there is no frist cat for it to read off of.

A couple other people have this header, and they all got custom exhaust done so I don't know whether it bolts up to the stock exhaust. Well..........does it? Please tell me yes. Oh, and tell me the gains are unbelieveable as well!

AS FAR AS THE HEADER BOLTING UP,IT DOES ON THE HEAD BUT ON THE END OF THE DOWN PIPE MY MUFFLER SHOP COPED IT AND MADE A NEW BONET FOR THE O2. IT REALY SOUNDS LIKE MORE WORK THAN IT IS, BUT ITS WORTH IT THE DIFFERANCE IS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY. AS FOR ME I JUST REPLACED FROM THE AXLE BACK BECAUSE MY MUFFLER GUY SAID MY PIPING WAS LARGE ENOUGH STOCK. OH AS FAR AS HP GAINS I WAS TOLD BUY RACING MAZDA THAT IT WOULD BE 12WHP WITHOUT EXT.
