07 MX-5 No AM radio Bose system

Hey all,

I installed an aftermarket deck into my mom's 07 MX-5 with the Bose system, and now it's got no AM radio. FM works fine, but the AM is just dead, and when I scan frequencies, it doesn't lock onto anything. Anyone come across this before?

Just to add something, I've tried two separate HUs and neither work. And we don't have the factory HU anymore (Install was done last fall)

Found the answer, posting for the sake of anyone searching.

The Miata has an AM power booster below the antenna in the trunk. This is controlled by the power antenna wire on the harness, which in my stupidity, I didn't connect thinking "hey, this car doesn't have a power antenna. Why would I need this?"

So to ensure AM radio, hook up the power antenna.
