Hoping you guys (and gals) can help me with this one. I have an 07 CX7 turbo w/ 44K. Last November (2010) car started shifting intermittently. It would drop down to 3rd or 4th while on the freeway, it would upshift to 5th or 6th while driving down the street in our neighborhood (25mph), basically you couldn't trust or predict what it was going to do. MIL finally came on and I pulled codes for front O2. Found it wierd and took it to dealer. Dearler had it for several days and replaced 02 sensor. Went to pick it up and MIL was still on. Dealer kept the car and called Mazda Tech. Tried new O2 and still didn't fix problem. So they replaced PCM, reset light and issues went away. Now, almost 1 year later, it is starting to do the same thing. MIL has not come on yet and there are no pending codes, but transmission has started acting up again. Contacted dealer and was told they could not do anything unless MIL is on and codes are present. Anybody else hear of this issue? It is my wife's car and both of us are getting really frustrated. Any help would be much appreciated!!!!
