'04 Mazda3 engine replaced at 55k

All service done at dealership, not beaten or abused! Just started ticking loudly - diagnosed w/ wrist pin failure. Engine was replacedat 61k. Now at 78K it's making the same noise! It's going back to dealership tomorrow. I'm freaking out! Wish I bought Honda or a Toyota....
Anyone w/ same issue?

Are you sure it was the WHOLE engine or just the bottom end? Pistons, pins, rings and rods?

dont the mile reset on the engine warranty? since its a NEW engine?

over all if you read consumer reports the mazda 3 has excellent reliability

was it replaced by the dealership with a new engine or a junked engine? how many miles were on the "new" engine if it was a salvage? also if it wasn't the dealership something may not have been done correctly on the install either.
