Hey all:
New member here. Hello to all!
So after 325000km of zoom zoom my v6 is slowly turning into a fog machine (consuming oil/ low compression). Still drives decently though,
it's been my daily driver for many years and is bone stock.
At first I was thinking of getting something a few years newer but I'm way too picky and nothing out there in my price range is meeting my needs.
Soooo I took a long look at what needed to be done to breath new life into my wagon and make me feel excited to drive it again. Going to get the engine rebuilt, add some mods, new paint, rims and want the center radio console out of an 07 6...that all black center console unnhggggggggg so sexy.
I have MSDS headers on order and am thinking of adding a lightweight flywheel as well. Not sure what else I can get the mechanic to throw on the v6 while he has it out. Any suggestions? Anything that doesn't need the motor out to do ill just do myself in phases.
Anyway gonna start looking over some threads on the first gen 6 to get some insperation.
Hello all hope to see you around.
