HELP PLEASE.... my brother overheated the engine on his 20003 mazda protege5 4 cylinders, We bought an engine from JMD DEPOT, looks almost the same, it has a BLACK BOX ON TOP OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD, the car DOES NOT START, the engine turns over but nothing, THERE IS NO SPARK O FUEL, It has new ignition coil, new spark plugs, and NOTHING, THE NEW ENGINE HAS THIS # BY THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD 21-1 and the old one 14-2 BY THE MANIFOLD AS WELL, BOTH OF THEM SAY FS9 ON THE SIDE, LIKE I SAID IT DOES NOT START, do I need a new ECU???? I check all the fuses and relays and they all are GOOD, HELP PLZ

That's the japanese FSZE, it is higher compression and has a better intake cam. It makes slightly more power than the FSDE, however it is OBD1 instead of OBD2. You may need to swap the crank sensor and possibly some other parts over to make it run properly.
