Local dude - seems like a cool guy. He's picking it up on Saturday, but left a deposit. I hope the car treats him really well. It has so much potential to be someone's favorite car. It just didn't suit my family any more. I'm about equally torn between thrilled to move on and devastated to see it go. I'll have a heavy heart when I hand him the keys. The car has been a big part of my life - it spawned my business, my car knowledge and confidence has increased exponentially (for better or for worse), its been a real joy and a real headache. I wouldn't change anything and I am doing it again, but this time the setup will be a lot more family friendly. The daddy mobile is going from the msp to a Grand Cherokee and the other vehicle is going from a ratty old Ranger to a 1990 Audi 20V Quattro. This way the "other" car is the toy and the daddy mobile just gets to be a daddy mobile.

I'll still be around. I may do a build thread in the non-mazda section for the audi. Its the new toy - I'm hoping to pull off a 7a turbo on the cheap and compete in next years Grassroots 2012 challenge. I'm pretty pumped about the cherokee because it frees me up to go nuts on the audi.
