Have the proxes on our Mp3, decent...wet traction could be improved but for the money they are a good bet

Like someone else said, gifts do not make any difference. To legally not pay taxes on a returned/ exchanged item, someone needs to provide proof of import when taxes were paid or a receipt from a canadian vendor showing taxes paid, then proof of export from canada to the US for warranty...

The kit you bought should have had these clips, you need to drill through the plastic and mount the clips

Premium is recommended due to the advance timing of the MP3, if you use regular you will notice a difference in performance. The ECU will notice and retard the timing.

I would not do that as 10-20 minutes is not enough to burn off mositure in the exhaust....you would not want to have your exhaust rust through...once a month is better

It's offcial the z828 does not work with the SIR-Ken1...you have to buy the kenwood one which has different communication protocal settings to allow it to talk to the z828

yes in canada we got 828's that were sirius ready apparantly

Intresting...the book from the SIR-Ken1 says it is compatible with all sirius ready HU's....but then again I emailed kenwood as well

just got around to plugging in the SIR-Ken1 sirius tuner in the MP3 with the 828 HU...Problem is the deck does not see the tuner if you plug the tuner in while the unit is on it sees it as a cd changer on the source button you get tuner>cd>ch>all off, after you shut the car off I lose the CH...

same thing happened to me this am....I installed the sirius on the weekend...reset and all is good...I think...I had to redo all the settings of course...forgot the speaker type one..think I had it set on the 6X9 or OEM, can't remember which

It works fine in Canada.....all you need is a US address and the kit.

.. Well the sirius is in and activated....antenna on the back deck like some of you....the verdict ? Sirius is awesome...great sound and I have only had one dropout so far going under a six lane bridge...so coverage is great, activation was a simple step all on line...used my dad's address...

Tada !! My units arrived...in the great white north of canada...I have one for me and one for my wifes MP3...so now it is time to install...it will be interesting to see the coverage in canada...now since in southern ontario we are south of the 49th, it should be OK as directv is fine < :-) >
