I would just upgrade the speakers to aftermarket and those bose are not that great. I have an aftermarket kenwood h/u and it works great. you do have to buy the mazda specific adaptor, which I got from the shop that installed the h/u, to use the steering wheel controls.

more than likely AC compressor is kaput.

could be your AC compressor which has been notoriously common to fail in the CX7. I have been thru 3 of them.

I would recommend keeping stock turbo. it wouldnt be as quick as a MS3 due to gearing and ECM programming. might want to consider a bigger top mount IC, IC boost tubes, turbo inlet pipe and catback exhaust.

more than likely its the turbo...and you are out of the factory ext warranty of 7yrs. options would be to replace with OE factory turbo or buy upgraded direct bolt on depending if you want to keep your 7 now. its not a cheap endeavor tho. I have over 100k on mine and still have factory...

might have to look outside the state of GA. I cant find any decent used ones in Texas (when I searched for my mother in law). I would go for a 2010/2011 model, Grand Touring, as 2007/08 have issues. and 2007's require premium fuel.

doubt the oil change triggered the CEL unless you went to an incompetent place. There is lots of threads regarding the timing chain and VVT problem and a TSB has been issued regarding this. Dont know if Mazda will cover this due to your mileage but its worth a shot to check with your local...
