    aluminum coolant tank

    Get 2 90 degree fittings an a peice of clear tubing, put one fitting on the tpo side of the tank and to other at the bottom and make a sight gage. Like they put on coffee pots.

    Just found a motor for the MSP, 135,000 good compression and oil press. They are keeping the intake and eh and turbo. $1750 I guess thats a good price(cabpatch)

    Ok I have looked and I can't find a MSP motor. Lots of 03 protege motors. I am planning to install forged rods and pistions,that's what broke. Can I buy a 03 protege motor do the upgrade on the pistions and rods, swap all accessories and mate it to my trans and put it in my MSP?(bang)

    Can't get the stupid manual to download. Does anyone have a pic of their motor on a hoist?

    Got the oil pan off last nite. The #1connecting rod is in 3 pieces, pulled the wrist pin out of the pistion, broke the rod in half and put one continuious hole from the ALT bracket to the PS bracket. Also broke both the brackets. Found a motor in NC. $1100. 90,000 miles, putting forged in it...

    $2400 gets a long block and all the seals and gaskets to transfer parts from blown motor.
