1,000,000 dollar question is: it will void your warranty, right? What is better? To have the warranty and fix the transmission if it breaks or void the warranty trying to avoid it to break? I would like to have it but what is the value if something happens and you do not have the coverage? (wow)

Had the same problem, 19 MPG city/hwy driving (fast). Passed 5k it went up to 21 and now 8k it is doing 24 driving normally and 22 driving fast without AC. With AC it is 23 normal, 21 fast. Pretty normal I think. It is a 3HB full but navigation, no mods... Hope this helps (stooges)

5000 miles now... NO ISSUES.... the grooves disappeared by themselves slowly after 2,500 and gone by 4,000. Production date is 12/03. I have ABS and not to say that everything is perfect... I have dust all over the rear wheels. (blah)

Guys, hold on your horses...if the groove is just in the surface, i.e. there is no deep groove and it can be felt only scratching the nail over it just wait... I had it and met with a Mazda engineer at the dealer by chance and he told me that it is the coating material and will go away alone and...

seems ok Mine was 19,500 with all but navigation so yours seems to be a good price. Try to go lower and check the reaction.... Do you have the rebate for previous Mazda owners?

Falling in love with the 3.... As I keep driving it I'm just falling in love with this car... (jerkit) reasonably fast, economical, kart like driving capability and great looks and interior... what the heck, for 19.5k it is a great value and Mazda may have a winner. From all the problems...

By the way they are present only in the left front disc... all others are ok. Still can't find any bump or groove with my fingertips.... keep you all posted as time passes...

Mine works fine till now althoug Miami is not what you can call a cold place...

Mine has 200 miles and showing grooves - in fact they are marks as there are no bumps of grooves, at least that my finger tips can feel.... let's keep an eye on it as I will do nothing till I feel it is getting worst or a TSB is issued. (pullup)

And I thought that mine at 19,725 with all (including Xeon) but navi was a good price,,,
