Congrats on the purchase man. Once you've had a little boost you'll be addicted. All motor Honda's aren't really anything to talk about unless its an EG hatch with a K24/K20 setup. Just my personal experience.

I'm confused as to what you are trying to explain here. Do you turn the key and it takes a second for the engine to kick over? Or you start the car and it has a hesitation before warming up? Try new plugs or regapping your old ones.

Does this happen with boosting only? I know the tiny stock turbos on these cars are mostly always in boost. The problem is that at around 2500 rpm is when boost first comes on and you will see a dramatic timing drop whenever boost comes on in the low rpm range. So if you have weak ignition...

Sounds to me like its a turbo issue. Pull your intake and check for shaftplay. Then pull an intercooler pipe and see if there is any oil coated in the piping. Just an idea though. For further investigation, to see if its a turbo issue or motor issue. Pull your exhaust manifold and see if there...
