i'm looking for the Turbo to IC pipe for the MSP. I prefer the stock part, but it doesn't have to be.

location of egt probe on msp any pics???

i spoke with the main mechanic at SPD about the placement of the EGT. He pointed out to me another location to install the sensor (the J-pipe). What I noticed is that the stock J-pipe of the MSP acutally has a bunge with bolt covering it up. I don't know if it will work, but try plugging in...

man 135hp stock? that sucks, haha. awesome gains on the MAM fmic though.

    CustomMSP SMIC fitment sucks.

jus custom's smic and hardpipes. BTW, I'm not talking about your dyno sheets. I'm talking about turbohoses dynosheet where they show 142whp to like 159whp or something for a stock MSP. But honestly, when was the last time you saw a STOCK msp, boosting 6.5psi, dynoing 142 to the wheels unless...

    CustomMSP SMIC fitment sucks.

I have a 30-40 mile commute, mostly freeway, to school. heat soak isnt BAD but it is there, which i'm not complaining about. I just want to ask why some people claim that heatsoak was gone evern after driving really ridiculously hard. spicy - thats very true. It takes so much less time...

    CustomMSP SMIC fitment sucks.

hey this is a little off topic, but i keep reading this "awesome power gain with heatsoak being nonexistent." Honestly, I'm not really feeling this great gain, and i still feel heatsoak (just goes away faster). perhaps I'm just expecting too much? Don't get me wrong, i love this upgraded IC...

    Any Forge BOV install pics?

It's the same thing as what I said before. You're running open vent on the hotside of the pipe. Some SR20DET guys had the same problem. They just replaced their BOV to the hotside (not saying its ideal, but just saying it worked).

    Any Forge BOV install pics?

if i'm not mistaken, you're doomed with the turkey unless you run dual or vent from atmosphere on the hotside of the pipe.

    TE-37s or Gram Light 57pros?

yeah, Volks and Gram Lights are from the same company (Rays Engineering). Can't go wrong with either of them! My personal favorite are the Volk CE28N rims. TE37s are getting played out.

    AMS SMIC or CS SMIC?

    sweet, thanks!

    AMS SMIC or CS SMIC?

One more question about pressure drop. I understand that CustomMSP's IC had a pressure drop of 1.1psi @260whp. Does the pressure drop increase as you boost more? In other words, would the pressure drop be lower if it was at, say, 160whp instead of 260whp?

    AMS SMIC or CS SMIC?

it makes that funny resonance noise on partial throttle, and it bugs the s*** out of me (well it used to). I made my aem into a SRI and that helped a little (i think). My theory is the different piping shape of the AEM and Injen. If you look at the injen, it resembles the AEM v2 pipe. The shift...
