Yes sorry exhaust tip. So just mothers mag polish and a rag will clean it up. Is it stainless steel? I guess Ill have to buy some then.

What would I use? Some fine steel whool and some sort of polish. It looks horrible after the winter. I dont want to mess it up anymore. Any sugestions?

No. I am pretty sure it is constant. But it only happens when accelerating.

I kind of get a wierd noise too. But it doesn't go away after it warms up. It sounds like well how to explain it..... Lets say you have a cup and then you put a fork or something inside of it and start knocking it around. But metalic sounding and really fast. Like a metal fan is hitting...

I also get the weird noise when I reverse and turn. Also tires feel flatspotted for the first minute or so of driving in the cold. But now I have snows so no more flatspot. (nana)

My dad works at a dealership that sells Subarus. I have talked to the techs for subies and they only get ones that are beat to hell and they strip trannys fairly easy and lots of stripped differentials. Not to mention the blown motors. They are always in the shop from what I hear from the techs.

Well I found it out. The tire was flat and frozen so in the snow it would not turn cause of the frozen flat spot. Also I think the ebrake was frozen on because I heard a big pop when I tried the next day.
