I believe that in the manual there is something that warns you not to exceed 20mph in 1st, so if you are shifting out of 1st at a higher speed than that, clutch problems can ensue.

I can't believe you paid 20K for a Mazda 6. To make it worse, you bought a car that was driven 16K miles in 6 months. You could have got yourself a MS6 Sport with 4K miles for 20K.

Mazda just released an ipod integration module that started shipping like a week and a half ago. Check with your dealer and see if they have it. 149 dollars retail price.
