    The Cams Are In!!

When trying to loosen the crank bolt without a compressor: Jack up the car, take off the wheel and the splashguard. Put a ratchet on the bolt and lower the car down enough where the ratchet is on the ground. Just bump the ignition and the torque from the motor will break the bolt loose. Just...

    Losing some weight

I read an article in Sport Compact Car where they kind of made a joke about removing weight from a car. I think it was like a 95 accord. They took off all the body panels, seats, etc. All that was left was the moving parts. Ran like a 13.8 or something if I remember correctly. Give that a shot...

    Nos N00b

I think if you don't know what your doing, the nitrous kit would be difficult install. It could also severely damage your engine if done wrong. As hard as the nitrous kit would be for you, the turbo kit would blow your mind. My suggestion: Go to a shop, buy the kit, and have them install it...

CAI or Short ram air intake?

I live in Houston, TX. If you go outside and piss, the neighborhood will flood.:D I have had the Injen CAI in for almost a year in my 02 P5 and no problems. I have driven through puddles and huge thunderstorms with no problem. As long as the filter is not submerged in water, you will be OK! As...

    Springs: Spool vs. Eibach

I can't speak for the Spool springs(I don't have them), but the Eibachs are way more stiff than stock. But I really like the way they handle. Much better feedback than stock.

    stabilizer bar kit

If you don't even know where it is, then you probably don't drive in a way where you would notice a difference. Go with some springs. You will get a better look and better performance.

    Springs: Spool vs. Eibach

I would go witht the Eibachs. I have them and love them. I had never heard of the Spool springs until a few months ago. Eibach has been around forever, they are a very reputable company and are ISO certified, which means they go through rigorous quality audits year round. Just my opinion though.

I have had the Sparko wires in for several months and I like them a lot and they were half the price of the Magnacor ones. I have heard some bad stories about them, but mine are doing fine.

    Greddy E Manage?

hmmm.... i'm using it without any problems. the close loop/open loop argument.... i don't know... i do know that i am able to minipulate the idle mixture to attain a smoother idle. i've got some pretty lumpy cams. i also know close loop/open loop does not affect the timing. so the timing...

    Got FS-ZE & Mazdaspeed Cams

$150 for cams and manifold? That is a pretty good price considering the dealership usually charges like $50 an hour. They usually get like for or five hours just for a timing belt. Anyway, let us know how it goes. By the way, make sure you break your cams in for at least 500 miles. That way all...

    Got FS-ZE & Mazdaspeed Cams

I really didn't port it all that much. I just smoothed out all the restriction. The weekend that I started, I just wanted to touch everything in the stream. I did just enough not to affect any readings. I love the cams. I did the manifold and the throttle body at the same time, so I can't say...
