Greddy E Manage?

I know this is going to sound dumb to alot of people here but I'm kinda new at this. Will the Greddy E manage work in conjunction with the MP3 computer? Please no flames :)

Thanx. I kinda had that feeling it was only going to control the fuel wanted to ask first though. thanx for the reply

It will control both fuel and ignition... but you will need the support tool and the optional ignition harness to do it.

when you try to manipulate the readings of the stck sensors or drivers while still using the stock ecu ( the mazda one in this case which is hard to trick or bypass) thru this piggy back, i think your going to run into a problem. not saying it wont help but i dont think it will correctly solve the problem with the tunability of the stock ecu without incorporating a SEPERATE fuel system to provide fuel.
as for spark again its difficult because you need to show the load variance so the computer wont think tha its mis firing. i am waiting on an answer to some questions from terrry on what exactly went wrong with his trials

Ok chooch it will not control the ignition on the protege it is not compatible with the ignition system Terry has found this out the hard way. Yes it will accuratly control fuel in the entire RPM range of the Protege but the timing controls will not work even with teh ignition harness and support tool.

Thats really too bad. Too bad they can't RnD it a little more for systems like ours and give us a piggyback that does it all for the same price - which is damn cheap.

Does it only work in closed loop?

hmmm.... i'm using it without any problems. the close loop/open loop argument.... i don't know... i do know that i am able to minipulate the idle mixture to attain a smoother idle. i've got some pretty lumpy cams. i also know close loop/open loop does not affect the timing. so the timing adjustment made in the emanage stick. i monitor all this with a obd2 scanner.

what exactly did Terry say about this matter anyways? i'm just curious.

Where can I get one? If all this is true, then the cam gears the E-manage and a half day on the dyno and I will be satisfied(for about a week:D )

sorry but i didnt get all that please repeat:confused:
what about not affecting timing? ignition or cam ?

How much more timing do u guys think the Mp3 can take. I'm wanting to go all motor. Maybe 2 or 3 more dgress advanced? The reason i ask is I'm going to be dropping in some fairly big stix in and as everybody knows big cams work better with more ignition timing.

i have a msd, but i have heard people say that msd said that they don't make a ignition that will work with our coil packs, so i have not use mine.
