i was having a hard time shifting into first while my car was rolling. so last weekend i changed the fluid in my tranny and it is fixed. i highly recommend changing out the tranny fluid. while you're making the mess you might as well change the transfer case and rear differential fluids too.

i'm not sure about buying maps, but some people share maps that they have tuned. what are you mods? i might have a tune close for you. you can also contact cp-e. they might be able to provide one. street tuning this car yourself is not that hard to do. i would suggest you buy a dash hawk...

Is there any better upgrades i may want to consider before these? a blow off valve would help if you a leaking boost. if you don't plan on upgrading your down pipe soon, consider getting a race pipe. easy to install, cheap, and shows good gains. which one i should get? i have all cp-e stuff...

I would not run over 17. The turbo starts to blow a lot of hot air and the stock intercooler doesn't have enough cooling efficiency to cool it off. I'm running 16 with pretty good results.

My studder is around 2.5k-3.0k rpms usually in 6th gear. I caught it once with my dash hawk and my knock sensor was going nuts. I was in 6th gear cruising and then pushed down the gas a little bit to accelerate. knock retard hits 6.3 and pulls ridiculous timing. I have no idea what causes...

if you want the woosh sound go with a hybrid bpv and the stock airbox. turboxs makes a hybrid.

i was the other dude helping with the install. using the corksport provided gaskets caused leaks at the flanges. we removed the gaskets the next day and used some liquid gasket stuff... no more leaks. have you checked for leaks recently?

This car was the best kept secret for 2006. No one jumped on these cars so they had to discount them pretty deep to get them to sell. that drops the resale value for all of us when dealers are selling them for a lot less. regardless, you got a good deal on the car. now go get some mods!!!

for daily driving and feel the motor mounts and short shifter are the best. if i could only keep one mod on my car i would keep my short shifter. for getting more hp or torque, get yourself a test pipe or cobb sri... test pipe is 100 bucks and i think the cobb is around 160. install on a test...
