    Question on O2 sensors

Universal sensors are a lot cheaper than the direct fit ones. With the universal sensors you have to wire it up to the old connector harness. As long as this is done properly they should work essentially the same.

    Question on O2 sensors

If you are buying universal o2 sensors then yes they are the same kind. If you are going for direct fit replacement then no they are not the same. The front and back ones have different part numbers as the wiring harness for each sensor are different.

two o2 sensors and I'm getting ready to hollow out the cat.

The non-fouler trick is only going to fool the ECU into thinking that your cat is working. If you want to actually fix the problem then you need to get a new cat.

    pinch bolt:threaded knuckle?

I removed mine by loosening the nut and then banging on the nut hard with a hammer. The bolt should slowly slide out. You will probably have to get a new nut and bolt at the dealership after this.

    pinch bolt:threaded knuckle?

The bolt is not threaded into the knuckle it just slides in. The bolt is 3/4 smooth and the last part is threaded.

is my shop trying to screw me?

You do not need camber plates. You should have made a note about the orientation of the white dots before you installed your springs because the direction of those white dots affect the toe settings for your car.

    cross-border ordering (US to Canada)

Usually you will be hit with just GST and PST on auto parts. What you really have to watch out for are the brokerage fees the shipping companies make you pay to bring stuff across the border. UPS and FedEx Ground are the worst. For a $100 USD item you are looking at about $40 CAD in fees. It...

    Kazaa.. Please be careful.

Computer based DVD recorders and CD recorders are not subject to copyright protection because of the fact that their intended primary use is backing up data. If you buy a stand alone audio CD recorder, it'll have copyright protection built in so you can't make a copy of a copy. Not only that...

    check engine light!

It takes a couple of days because the computer will only reset the light if the problem that cause the CEL does not occur again after a certain amount of times you start your car. The CEL will not turn off as soon as the problem disappears.

    how bad?

If you were in neutral, the rev limiter should kick in before you do any damage. Redline isn't some magic number where your engine will blow up if you go past it. You were less than 10% over the limit for a very brief period of time. Don't worry about it. Now if you were running at 7100 rpms...

    5x7 VS 6.5 in front?

As long as the are of the same quality, the difference is almost none. I'm willing to bet that you cannot hear the dfference between the two. It's really not worth the trouble of mounting 6.5's in a 5x7 hole. I just installed a set of Infinity Kappa 5x7's in my car and I highly recommend them.

    The numbers are out !!

It's not full of poop. Most cars are a lot slower in the rolling start because the car is already in gear and the engine is at low RPMs. This is a good test for low end torque. At a standing start, you can rev the engine high and drop the clutch. You may get wheel spin but when your tires get...
