Anybody tow with a Mazda CX-5?

The Ski is 400kg,plus 70litre's fuel in the Ski(if I fill it before we leave). I suppose with everything packed in the car plus the Ski,it would come close to 500kg.

Anybody tow with a Mazda CX-5?

This what I tow on the weekends- Fishing Ski/bikes/normal weekend luggage packed in the back. The CX5 drives comfortable with the load, I do notice that it alters the rear vehicle height,so I'd think your CX5 would be the same with a horse trailer on the back. Fuel consumption goes up to 13.5L...

    2014 CX-5 Touring...Won't start

Not sure about over there- Over here the CX5 here will automatically turn off the Accessories after a set time( I think it's 10 min's). It turns radio, dash lights/interior lights off. This is when the engine is off and stationary, and in Accessory Mode. Maybe try it next time your sitting in the...

    Show me your CX-5 wheels

After reading heaps on here about upgrading the wheels on the CX5,I finally decided to change the OEM 17inch wheels to OEM Mazda6 2014 19 inch wheels. There were a few reason's. I wanted 19's,but I didn't want the wheels to be too "showy", I liked the look/style/different silver colour of the...

It's good- The 2.5 tows it well on the Freeways,on some of the longer hill sections,I manually change it down to 5th so the engine is not lugging up the hills.

    Australia front number plate holder

Just need to know what you mean by the "Holder"? Over here the number plate is screwed directly onto the front bumper. Do you mean the plastic dress-up frame that Dealerships put around the numberplate?

    too many of them

Yes I agree about the Mazda 3 looking very similar. These are my last two Mazda's and you can see a likeness.

    Anyone running higher than 87?

Yes-That's the same here in Australia. Mazda recommends 91 octane for the 2.5,so it must be the difference in the ECU.

    Chinese Aftermarket CX-5 Mud Flaps

They are the same type that I ordered and fitted. They look and fit like Genuine Mazda mudflaps at 1/4 of the price. Here's a pic:

    Chinese Aftermarket CX-5 Mud Flaps

I've only got a picture of them fitted on the CX5. But I can tell you that you don't need to drill any extra holes, you use all the existing three holes.
