to the OP - does your cordless craftsman batteries stay charged back there? I'd imagine they go flat after a few weeks and wouldn't be helpful if/when the time came to need them. i mean you always have a tire iron :) throw in some glow sticks.

to clarify- it turns the engine off when ANY door is opened? when the car is running, can you use the other fob to open the trunk?

very nice! i had gone w/ a single led in waterproof housing and drilled a hole in the mirror housing bottom. LEDs dont tend to dim well

Has anyone seen anything yet? It seems like either side of the trunk would have enough working area/depth to build out a smaller box < 1.2 cu ft for a 8" or 10" sub. i know on my mazda3 hatch someone had been making an enclosure like this

yea should be able to keep it w/ NC plates and not be subject to all the Cali nonsense.
