    Warped rotors

    I figured I would update this. I'm now at 65k and the Centric rotors and Wagner pads feel like they did new. I think Mazda either cheaped out on the factory rotors, or used too soft of a pad which deposited pad material on the rotors unevenly and caused the "warped" feeling. No problems now!

    I don't have a picture of the odometer, but my 14' 2.5 manual sport 6 has 65k. I bought it new in April 13' with around 400 miles on it. Castrol Edge Syntec 0w-20 with a Bosch 3300 filter every 5k. Factory Yokohoma's gone at 27k. Pirelli P7 Cinturato on wear bars at 57k. I'll be trying...

    What kind of treadlife are you getting out of the OEM tires?

    What kind of pressure are you running? Mine have plenty left on the edges but are to the wear bars in the middle. This indicates too much pressure, yet I'm running 1psi less than the door sticker suggests. I do drive on a very curvy 30 mile road twice a day to and from work. That may be the cause.

    Well, the Pirelli P7's are on the wear bars here at 30,000 miles. I run 35psi at all 4 corners and rotate every 5k miles. They are rated for 70,000 so I am more than disappointed. Looks like I'll be trying some Michelin Premiers.

    I can't argue with the dealer, but my car sits in an unshaded parking lot 12 hours a day 4 days a week from 10*F to 105*F and I have been using the 303 with no noticeable degradation since April 2013.

    Update here, I just put a set of Centric premium rotors (120.45084) on front, with some Wagner Thermoquiet (QC1711) Ceramic pads. Everything feels great here at 52k, I will update with any issues as they wear.

    I don't have navigation, but the drivers window is the only one that lights up. Seems like a bad place to cut costs to me.

    Warped rotors

    I put Wearever Golds from Advance Auto on my 6 after I had the factory warped rotors machined, and I've put around 10k on the car since then. Seems like the rotors like the new pads much better, as the initial bite feels better than factory and there are no vibrations at all.

    32,400 miles. Purchased in April '13 with 300 miles on the odometer. (eek2) Already put a set of tires on it, bought 70k tires this time. Car still looks and feels new. I am completely happy with my purchase minus road noise, and I wished it was a wagon.

    For those of you with a Aftermarket or modified intake, is the car more jerky?

    Mine is a bit touchy with the stock intake. If I hop into the car after working nightshift and don't let it warm up about 30 seconds, when I ease out the clutch it takes off fast!

    Just had mine machined at 30k miles as well. Seems like all rotors are pot-metal from China now. Mine didn't even have a minimum thickness stamped on them.
