I just recently had to get my alt. canged. A local rebuild shop said the could re-build my stock one to put out 100amps for $145.00cdn. Didnt see too much in the way of aftermarket, although I'm shure there out there.

If you wanted to do it the hard way you could run the wire through plastic conduit along the bottom of the car. There should be a rubber grommet in the bottom of the spare tire well. IMO just run it through the car. If you have to drill a hole just use a rubber grommet from your local parts...
