Okay, gents, read it and weep...

Sorry, I don't really understand what you mean by "baby it" and "big crimp in mileage". Are you saying because the engine runs rich, you might as well drive it hard??? (dunno)

    E-Brake WAY too loose!

Another thing is, where is this hex screw that adjusts the e-brake cable? I've searched all around my center console and can't find it near the e-brake? Edit: NVM, found this- http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123728583&highlight=e-brake

Would you care to explain more how to lube the slide pin? I think I have a similar situation. Thanks in advance.

    E-Brake WAY too loose!

Ok, so I have this problem too. When I park the car on a slant, I noticed the e-brake can't hold it as the car will start moving slowly forward. However, once I step on the brake it will hold it. This is weird. According to what I've currently witnessed on my car, is the e-brake basically a...

Oh boy, rusted out rear wiper shaft

Yeah I checked out that word doc already. I searched and found it, thus leading to me discovering my shaft was seized. However, it is SO SEIZED to the point that all of the aforementioned ways of releasing the shaft is obsolete. I'm thinking I'll just buy a new assembly and torch the damn thing...

    Long drive, then... This normal?

That is quite expensive for something that isn't a repair but only a diagnostic. I say hire a private mechanic to look at it (unless you want to do it yourself). $500 can get you a new clutch already!

Yeap, that's exactly what I've been doing. Good to know that it's a normal thing. Thanks all for your input. Hope this post helps someone out there!

Oh boy, rusted out rear wiper shaft

Hah! So I try fixing my rear wiper thinking it's a fuse/dead motor and low and behold it's another rust issue with these Mazdas! Unbelievable, rust gets everywhere too easily. Anyways, the shaft is horrendously seized and nothing is getting it off the glass. What ways have you guys tried to...

Weird shudder when releasing gas pedal at gear 1 + 2?

I have a question regarding a 2002 Pro5 with standard transmission. Here's the deal- I've noticed an issue where as I drive the car at 20km/h, holding the speed constant while on the throttle, I will feel a "shudder" when I let go of the gas until I step lightly onto the pedal again. It feels...
