I use a little wooden baseball bat to get the damn thing in or out. I just stick the bat in the silencer and keep wobbling it back and forth till its in or out. lol

I think I know what picture you are talking about. Didn't the back dash pop up on the left side from the strut mount breaking?? If I remember right, it was a sunlight silver MSP.

MSP is my daily driver year round. Just put my new/used(Rush's old winter tires/wheels) on a couple weekends ago.

Def get the corksport hangers. Thats what I have for my vibrant and I have no problems at all.
